We don't use fillers. We don't use synthetic shortcuts. Here is everything that goes into a Whip Bar formula.
Bases
Our shea butter is raw, unrefined, and sourced from women's cooperatives in West Africa. We also use mango butter and cocoa butter as base blends — all cold-pressed, minimally processed, and chosen for how they behave on real skin.
Carrier Oils
Five carrier oils available: Jojoba (mimics skin's natural sebum), Sweet Almond (balanced, vitamin-rich), Argan (antioxidant, radiance-supporting), Avocado (deep moisture repair), and Castor (targeted healing). All cold-pressed, cosmetic grade.
Scents
All scents are derived from essential oils and natural fragrance blends — no synthetic perfumes. Each scent profile is blended for skin safety and longevity, not just smell.
Add-Ins
Vitamin E (antioxidant, extends shelf life), Arrowroot Powder (drier finish, reduces greasiness), Calendula Infusion (anti-inflammatory, sensitive skin), Rosehip Infusion (hyperpigmentation, renewal), Lavender Infusion (calming), Cocoa Powder (tint and depth).
What We Never Use
No parabens. No sulfates. No synthetic dyes. No water as a filler. No mineral oil. No fragrance listed as 'fragrance' without disclosure.
Shelf Life
All formulas are oil-based and preservative-free. Shelf life is 6–12 months depending on ingredients. Store in a cool, dry place. If your butter smells off, discard and reorder.
